Nice job, Kurt, on the podcast. You don't sound too different from what I imagined.

Deen, I hadn't seen that three-point stat. As you said, not sure how much it means in the preseason, but I'll talke all the hope I can get.

As for the assist ratio, that might fall with Kobe back, but the less it falls the better.

Craig, check out the link above, but apparently whether it was Chick or Cook depends on who was telling the story.

Kurt,

Nice highlights.

Agree that perimeter defense and PG position was lacking last year. However, in this pre-season Lakers are held opponents to 27% from 3pt range (top 5 in league). Not a bad star, but it is only the pre-season.

On another good note, lakers are the best assist team in the preseason (24/game) which must mean that the triangle is clicking.

However, the lakers are rebounding poorly. Undoubtedly due to the Kwame & Mihm injuries.

Kurt, would 49 wins give us the 5th seed?

Kurt,
Sorry to be completely off thread, but...
If I am not mistaken, Chick was specifically instructed by Jack Kent Cooke to refer to the Laker uniforms as Forum Blue and Gold. There were even a lot of jokes about this back in 'the day'.
