Laker Film Room: Timberwolves 108, Lakers 99

October 1, 2017 by Pete Zayas

The Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night 108-99, in a predictably sloppy game. Luke Walton warned that the Lakers had installed “zero percent” of the half court offense just a day before, and that was reflected in a very limited menu of plays on display at the Honda Center in Anaheim. The Lakers also struggled defensively, surrendering 10 offensive rebounds and 21 free throw attempts en route to a 61 point First Half by the Timberwolves. In the first Laker Film Room game recap for Forum Blue & Gold, I take a deep dive into specific components of of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Ivica Zubac’s performances.
