Lakers Podcast: The Last 25 Games

February 21, 2018 by Pete Zayas

The blockbuster trade of Jordan Clarkson & Larry Nance Jr. to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, and Cleveland’s 2018 first round draft pick has Laker fans wondering exactly what their team is as they emerge from the all-star break. After a fantastic 12-4 stretch, the Lakers are 0-3 in the Isaiah Thomas era on the heels of three pitiful defensive performances prior to the break.

The Lakers – without any incentive to lose games after the all-star break for the first time in years – have a great opportunity over the course of the last 25 games of the 2017-18 season, despite that identity crisis.

In this episode of the Laker Film Room Podcast, Darius & I discuss what we went to see in the last 25 games, Isaiah Thomas’ first games as a Laker, Brandon Ingram’s strong performance at the point guard position, lineup preferences, and more.
