Laker Film Room Podcast: Flashes of Greatness

In this episode of the Laker Film Room Podcast, Pete and I discuss the Lakers 119-96 game 5 win over the Rockets to win their 2nd round series and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Rather than just dive into the details of what was a mostly rote game that saw the Lakers lead from start to finish, we instead took a moment to celebrate the Lakers advancing to the WCF for the first time in a decade and really reflect on this particular team’s strengths and how they are flashing signs of being a great team.

Later in the pod we get into the roster flexibility this team has shown these playoffs in beating two totally different types of teams in the first two rounds and how that versatility will serve them well in the conference finals, regardless of opponent.
