In the latest Laker Film Room Podcast, Pete and I take stock of the team after the first month of the season. We start out talking about Lonzo Ball, the narrative around him, and how he’s played to this point in the year on both sides of the ball.
Beyond Lonzo’s play, we also get into how well Julius Randle’s performed this year, whether he should be playing more (yes), and wonder aloud about what took so long for Randle to get minutes playing next to Brook Lopez.
This transitions us to questions about Luke Walton’s rotations, the team’s offensive schemes, and whether criticism of their offense needs to be balanced against how well the team has been performing on the defensive side of the ball.
This was a good conversation between and we hope you all enjoy it as much as Pete and I did. Give it a full listen below.
