When I was a kid, I went to the local fair. I can’t remember all that I ate that night, but I imagine cotton candy, a corn dog, and some sort of sugary drink were involved. I’m pretty sure I went down one of those big yellow slides on a potato sack, shot some hoops in an attempt to win a giant stuffed animal (but didn’t), and went on some rides.
One of the rides I went on was called “the zipper”.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever been on this ride and, if you did, if it was even called the same thing. Basically, though, this ride spun you in circles inside of a little metal cage type thing all while also rotating on an axis. Sort of like how a bicycle pedal would work. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at the same time.
All in all, it was a fun night, but at the end of it I threw up because the zipper made me super dizzy.
Last night, against the Magic, the Lakers went to the local fair. They ate some good food, shot some hoops, rode a fun ride, and at the end they threw up. It was a fun night that, in the end, didn’t go their way. Credit the Magic who put the Lakers in the zipper and made them a bit dizzy in the final minutes to pull out the W.
This is my recap of the Lakers losing to Orlando, snapping their 9 game winning streak in the process. At the halfway point in the season, the Lakers are 33-8. You cannot win them all. Have a good day, ya’ll.
