In this episode of the Laker Film Room Podcast, Pete and I answer listener questions on all things Lakers heading into the season.
Among the topics covered from the perspective of the full team are what we expect Luke Walton to focus on most this training camp (offense or defense), the best ways to optimize a Brandon Ingram and LeBron James pairing offensively, and what metrics besides wins and losses we will be looking at most closely to gauge the team’s success early in the year.
From an individual player standpoint, we talk some about Lonzo’s jumper and whether recent video clips hint at a new (and potentially improved) shooting motion, which of the team’s young players we expect to make the biggest jump in performance from last season to this upcoming one, and which of the free agent acquisitions we think might be the squeaky wheel should their playing time not mirror their personal expectations.
Lastly, a listener asked who would win in a game of one-on-one between me and Pete. You can listen to the pod to get a taste of how we think that would go. Enjoy!
